Christian Walter is a well seasoned executive with a broad international career with leading companies in scientific instrumentation and life science industries.
He has extensive experience in strategy development, international business, marketing, sales and customer service. His customer focus and market knowledge allow him to develop pragmatic and actionable solutions.
Throughout his career, Christian has had a strong
international focus with secondments in Asia and Great Britain and responsibility for projects, teams and transitions across Asia and in the United States. Cross-Cultural competence has been crucial for his success in all his roles.
He has initiated three acquisitions projects and was involved in the whole process including due diligence and post acquisition integration.
Christian has an easy and approachable personality and quickly gains trust with the people he works with. This allows him to mentor important staff members and align a team on a common mission.
Christian is married to Gillian, who comes from the UK and has two bilingual children. He lives on lake Zurich in Switzerland and likes to spend as much time as possible outdoors. His hobbies include sailing, wildlife conservation, photography and long walks with his dog Indie.
